Hopping for a Bunny Cake!

Pardon the cotton balls in the bow. These pictures were taken right after I made this sweet bunny cake for a two-year-old's birthday. Her favorite "lovey" is a bunny, but her mom didn't want it to look like Easter. We came up with purple sparkle bunny silhouettes and fun red ribbons. I added her initials after the cake set up. Turned out really precious.

Golf Cup Cakes

A new client's husband turned 40 on Halloween, so she wanted something fun to celebrate this landmark birthday before her girls headed out for trick or treating. I think these were a hole in one!

Breast Cancer Awareness Cake

My Mother-in-law wanted a breast caner awareness cake for a gathering she was throwing at her company. I think she might be my biggest fan, so I didn't want to disappoint. This vanilla pound cake did it's job. Now we just need a cure.

Pajama Day Cup Cakes

My son's school celebrates Pajama Day as part of Halloween, so I made slumber party cup cakes. Each cup cake is customized to resemble each child in the class. They loved them! I'm just glad there are only 10 children!

My Amazing Spider-man

My Super Henry just turned TWO! He is obsessed with Spider-man and is known to attack "bad guys" with a flick of his wrist.... so of course I had to make the world's best Spider-man cake, right! This cake is 100% edible. The Spider-man bust cake is made with an 8 inch and 10 inch pound cake and the head is made out of rice crispy treats. They are all covered with red butter cream and then red, blue and black fondant... and of course edible glitter for extra spidey flare! I was completely please with this cake and Henry's reaction. Both were delicious. Happy Birthday, Buddy!

Crabby Cupcakes for Gumbo Night!

We celebrated my husband and his twin brother's birthday with gumbo night at our home. These cute little fondant crabs look a little fearful of the gumbo pot!

Roaring Cake for Henry!

This is my sweet Henry. We had a family picnic at the zoo for our little king of the jungle. Vanilla pound cake with marshmallow fondant polka dots and a modeling chocolate lion with gumpaste stars with his name on them. The top tier doubled as a crash cake.

My Little Pony Cupcakes

These My Little Pony cupcakes were intended to travel. The party was at a pony farm (which means flies) so the cupcakes are in a pretty pink carrier with a clear cupcake lid. They are chocolate, vanilla and strawberry flavors. Sophia loves Twilight Sparkle and so the cupcakes are inspired by her favorite My Little Pony.

Batty For Batman Cake!

This Batman Cake was designed by my husband for a family friend's son's birthday. It is chocolate cake with buttercream and marsh mallow fondant.

We all scream for Ice Cream!

This cake looks like ice cream, but is all cake and frosting. It was created for a 2 year old's ice cream themed party. They planned for a ton of ice cream, but still wanted cake. Inside this cake is strawberry, chocolate and sprinkled vanilla cake with buttercream icing. The "ice cream" is buttercream with sprinkles, magic shell, buttercream "whipped topping" and a fondant cherry. Super fun!

Spidey Senses Yumminess!

My nephew wanted a chocolate spiderman cake for his birthday.... this is a single layer cake with buttercream piping and some sparkle to make it even more fun!!

No fouls on this basketball cake!

This is a dairy-free, peanut free cake for a basketball loving 14 year old boy. I love it when people give me some background on what they like and then I can just create. This cake very fun to make and yes, it is all edible.

Rocket Cake Takes Off!

My son wanted a rocket party when he turned 3... and he knew just what kind of cake... "A  ROCKET Cake!!!!" This cake was amazing to create. There are three different flavors hidden behind all the fondant and disco dust it took to make Jonathan's dreams take flight. It was completely worth the effort (my husband and his friend actually made the base to support this cake.
